The Boalt Hall Women’s Association in collaboration with Haas School of Business’s Women in Leadership will host Building Women Up, a “shark tank” style pitch competition to advance women in law and business on Friday, February 23, 2018. Delida Costin will participate in this year’s event as competition judge.
The event will bring together teams of 4-5 students, attorneys, and business professionals to create and pitch actionable tools for gender equity in leadership. The broad theme will be gender representation at all levels in the workplace. Leaders from both the business and legal communities will collaborate with law and business students to create out-of-the-box strategies and tools that address gender inequality and implicit bias in the workplace.
